Dutchess Tourism, Inc., DMO for Dutchess County in Hudson Valley, NY, has deep roots in America’s Revolution. A local legend says that George Washington drank in every tavern in the region during the time he spent there as General of the Continental Army. Working closely with our client and the county historian, we brought these stories to life through a revolutionary AR experience. When visitors to area bars and restaurants scan special coasters, a tiny hologram of George Washington appears on the bar to share tall (but true) tales of Dutchess County during the Revolution.
