When travelers think of New York, the images that come to mind for many are of New York City: The Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge. Not that natural world wonder on the other side of the state—Niagara Falls. Capitalizing on that association as an opportunity to introduce NYC visitors to a spectacular destination just an hour’s flight away, we commissioned a series of bold, colorful images that juxtaposed iconic NYC landmarks with the cascading waters of Niagara Falls.

This campaign saturated the Big Apple in a variety of media placements including street-level bus shelters, underground subway displays, and even a multi-story digital video billboard smack dab in the middle of Times Square.

Destination Niagara Falls USA took over two digital video boards in prominent locations in New York City’s Time Square. These massive media placements garnered millions of impressions, effectively informing city-goers of the wonder and adventure they can experience on the other side of New York.
